Hello All,

My name is Tom, and I have just started raising about 30 chicks. I have a rottweiler mix service dog, and a pit pull who has adopted the chicks as her babies. I have about 1000 sq ft of garden, and a 1/2 acre back yard to raise the hens.

I live in a city that has a limit of 12 hens, but I am planning to build a coop to take care of any problems .My neighbors just want eggs.

I have 6 RIR, some that I do not know, 4 Blacks, and a bunch of Easter Eggers.

I raised chicks as a kid, but now, being 51 I am back to learning. I hope to be able to learn from all of yall!
