I doubt it. If the talons are long enough one would just get tore up. A Tom don't play games, they typically don't have any fear. They'll fight to the death.

I hand raised my 2 royal palms. I also have an extra male. Well my baby male will bit Haard if given the opportunity. The other one tries to peck the feet. But my baby, He's quite large will come and stand by me, then if I sit, he will circle my chair, most times doing nothing. I have tried holding him down, it works for a short time. It is heartbreaking. I slept with them in my room for 2 months. Any ideas how to get him to be less aggressive. He doesn't chase me, but he and the other male will gang up on others. I only have 1 female may be the problem.
