Tomaru Hatching eggs

Well, I have some limited experience with this. So far, I have only crossed Tomarus with Ponapes.

In case you're not aware, Ponapes are a very rare breed of Oceanic Rapanui fowl. They come from Micronesia and are the result of seafarers scattering the genes of various type of Jungle Fowl across the Pacific, including Greens, Ceylons and probably Greys.

Hence, I've had some unusual outcomes given that Tomarus come from a similar linage. I've seen some crazy genes matching up. I've had crests, polydactyly, feathered feet and some beautiful long clear crows; even though neither parent has crests, polydactyly or feathered feet. It's crazy stuff that only has occurred when mating my Platinum Saudeleur Ponape to his daughter that is half Tomaru.

I don't have any idea what happens when you mate one to a more ordinary chicken. I'll let you know if I find out.

I have fertile Tomaru eggs for $4 each. The cock that I'm using has more than a ten second crow thanks to the nice lady who started this post. Smoothmule sold me some eggs a couple years ago. Due to a comedy of errors I only ended up with one hen that I was able to hatch from her Dutch line. I vigorously bred that hen to create the great crower that I have now. Smoothmule's claim that her Dutch line is superior has been verified by my ability to improve my own line from just one of her birds. Eventually I'd like to have a line that is fully Dutch, but for now, this line should produce some long and beautiful, sometimes slightly chuckling crows.

I still have a young Tomaru cock available, that unfortunately has no Dutch genes, and has a more average crow; beautiful and strong, but only seven to eight seconds.

If anyone is interested in the young cock or eggs, just send me a personal message.
