tomato's with bottoms rotten

thanks for the quick reply, this is a new garden, made with the lasagna system last fall, had a soil sample done, and was told to add triple 10 fertilizer because there was a lesser amount of potassium but the ph was good.
Read the article about blossom end rot, interesting. going to get some calcium and make up a spray

With a lasagna bed, fertility and pH can vary from place to place. It's best to get a sample from several places in the bed (center, ends, edges,) put all the samples in a large clean container and mix thoroughly. Then take about a cupful for your sample.

Try some fast acting lime around your tomato plants and then put more soil up around the stems. They'll quickly send out new roots there.

taking samples from several places was part of collecting soil from different places of the garden for a sample.
How have your temps been? If it's too cold, the plant can't take up calcium, even if there's plenty available.
temps around here have been on a roller coaster, 50's one week with rain, 80's the next.
