When the eggs are under a broody chicken you do not need to do ANYTHING to them except make sure she has a dark, quiet, undisturbed and bedding-filled area to sit on them. Anything that tells you to moisten them is giving instructions for inside an incubator, which is an entirely different situation from under a hen.

The clear (see-through) eggs are no good. You can toss them. The dark eggs probably have babies in them. Just give her time. Messing around with the eggs can do much more harm than good, especially if you're inexperienced, so it's best just to leave them be and maybe check them once a day.

Good luck! Hope you get some babies out of the batch. :)

By the way, to an inexperienced eye a pip (the first "crack") can be really hard to see. It's just a small outward indention and may be almost completely invisible. Even an experienced eye will sometimes miss a very small pip. And the cheeping is never constant. So there's a good chance you *do* have cheeping and pipping and just don't realize it yet. ;)

Cool that was yesterday today is day 22 and she is doing very deep clucks and looking under her self I think one is going to hatch

Yippee!! She is talking to her babies, and they are talking back. She may even have babies under her--they won't poke their little heads out for about a day after they hatch (longer if it's cold out). The looking under herself is a dead giveaway that SOMETHING very exciting is happening there. <3

Oh, no! :( Have you actually looked under her to see what you can see? How cold is it where you are? When it's cold out, they will stay under mama for several days after hatch and it can be deceiving. I hope there are babies under there for you!
