Tomorrow night is lockdown! Any tips?

I am using a LG Still air, no fan. My temp/humidity has been staying steady throughout with small adjustments.

My thoughts.....I am going to add an extra water dish in the bottom and maybe some washcloths to get the humidity up. And pull one red plug and see what happens before I pull the other one.

But, I have seen pics of others who put their eggs on a towel inside? What for? And also wondering if I should use an egg carton for hatch to keep the chicks from moving the non-hatched eggs around.

Please, I welcome all your feedback as this is my first

You should remove both the plugs, one is to be out during incubation with the LG.
You do have a hygro/thermometer to check your humidity? Too-high humidity is worse than too low IMO.
Some people put the eggs on a towel or rubber shelf liner to give the chicks a better grip when they hatch. I do not do this, they can hold perfectly well to the wire, and it helps if any have curled toes, the wire straightens them out pretty good

Good luck, let me know how it goes

What are you hatching?

Oh no!!!!!

My toddler daughter woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to see if the eggs hatched. Unknowingly, she turned the temp knob on the incubator and when I went
in to turn this morning they were at 125!!!!!!!!

What am I going to do? Are they done? Today was day 18 and they were going on lockdown
