tomorrow they come off the turner

Oh, I was doing just great until I read this thread. Now I'm a wreck, and I'm scheduled to work the next 2 days. Today in day 19, tomorrow is day 20 so stuff should be happening soon.
I'm doing the egg carton thing. I'm sick and tired of losing over half my eggs to wild and crazy early hatching chicks.
I'm hoping for better hatch results from doing it this way.

The hair bands didn't work last time, still bowled them out of them.

I'll keep you posted.

Ok thanks. still no pip or peeps

I still have no pips, peeps nothing. My dd was home yesterday and swore she heard peeping and it looks like one or two eggs moved from position but nothing to get excited about. I thought when I got home from work I would at least see a lil crack or something. Today is day 21 at 9am and I feel sick that I won't get one chick.

Hang in there, you guys!! I went to bed certain that no one was going to hatch and this morning I have 6 out of 7, and the last one is zipping. It WILL happen, just give them time. I was a basket case last night, I know exactly how you feel. It will happen. It will.

My day 21 started Wed at 6:30 and was over today at 6:30, if that helps at all. I only had one pip at 9am and a few more at 11am. Then they hatched overnight between 3:30 and 6am. So really, mine hatched at the tail end of their 21st day. They will come out when they are good and ready, lol!!

Isn't that the truth! I'm at work now wondering how many more are going to hatch today. I've had 9 hatch between yesterday am and this am, but my most important ones are just now starting to pip! I am waiting on ALOT MORE action!
Good luck everyone!

So are you hatching ducks or chickens? Ducks do take longer than chickens some a lot longer, some even 35 days!!

Wishing you the best.
