Bill, a cop passed me with his lights off going at least 80. I usually go around 73. I know better than to speed, and I'm a cautious driver.

Yes, they will do that. But, when they need to make their quota they will get you.

I have learned that lesson a couple of times. I got a ticket one time when the speed limit was 70 and I was doing 85 and everyone else was doing 90-95 but he decided to get me because he can't get them all. I was his sucker for the day.

But, ok, I believe you. Be careful.

I drive the speed limit, usually. I get really nervous passing the big trucks, though, and want to get past them really quickly. And if a cop did that to me, I'd just bat my eyelashes at him, and he'd probably let me off.
