Tonight on PBS! "The Natural History of the Chicken"

Well me and the family just watched the show, I loved it and thought it was too funny!

All was going well until the "Liza incident". We was watching and the kids were so quiet when the part about Liza came on. They watched so intently

, then the hawk swoops down on Liza and the man goes to see what is a dead chicken,...then from out of nowhere my 6 yr old daughter goes into a huge wail,

crying and screaming,.."NO! Not Liza!" All I could do was watch her in amazment, this is the kid who has been trying to get mommy to behead the rooster for supper everyday for months.(She is not one of your usual soft-hearted gals.) Then I myself start boo hooing, its almost contagious, then my husband says,.."No,No,..she is fine look!". What a relief, my child or myself was no longer tramatized over Liza the chicken! My daughter is fine now, more worried about our hens, but fine. Now she wants to have a hawk for dinner!

Love those Chickens!!!!

Liza almost had me believing that silkies aren't truly evil and that I might just want one....almost.

Kept telling DH, "See! I'm not anywhere near as crazy as I could be!"
