I was just sittin' here with Jay Leno in the background, and I heard Wm. H. Macy talk about building a chicken coop. He got 6 chicks by mail order, and had the phone call from the post office about a "peeping package". (I've not had that experience, getting my older chicks from people who raised them some, first)
The "missing chick" story, had me LOL, 'til the tears started -- he thought he had to bring his daughter some bad news, but found the chick comfy in her (the girl's) bed!
I love hearing about other people and their chickens; even better if it's a "famous person", bringing more attention to chicken-keeping!
