With my chickens.
I ordered a dozen hatching eggs Monday, they are not here yet and tonight it is going to be twelve degrees. Will the cold affect my eggs en route?
Thanks.

28.4* seems to be the number under which you don't want hatching eggs to go, or they will be damaged. So it is going to depend on what the PO is doing with the eggs, if they are inside a building somewhere they will probably be OK, if they are sitting in a truck overnight waiting to be unloaded or something, they will be in trouble. I've gotten eggs in cold weather before and had decent hatches, so hope yours are fine. Are the eggs going to be held at the PO for you to pick up rather than being delivered (chance of them sitting in the mailbox?) Nice article from Brinsea on temperature effects on hatching eggs.

They are going to be delivered to my house so they won't be sitting in a mailbox, but they very well could have stayed overnight in a truck.
