The title says it all.. I want to get started on raising mealworms as soon as possible.. BUt I am afraid they will die in transit.. Anyone have any ideas?? I know they hibernate in certian temps but it is still getting into the low 20s here..

Can i just make my setup and by Mealworms from the Petstore??? Not sure if these would work or if I have to start with beetles..

I would think they would be packed in dirt/shavings/barley for their trip so I would imagine they would be well insulated for their trip. I'd like to do this too! Won't pay $40 for less than a pound of the buggers!
