We got chicks 2 weeks and a day ago (not sure of exact age but we’ll go with 2-2.5 weeks 😉).

Our 2 barred rocks came from the straight run bin. I suspect 1 may be a cockerel and the other a pullet, but curious if anyone could offer insight. (I realize it is likely a wait and see approach though)

Top row is 1 chick-from when we first got it to today (This one is bigger weight wise but does not have any tail feathers yet, more prominent white spot on head as well)

Bottom row is the other chick from when we got it to today. (Actually the smallest of all 5 chicks we have but has more feathers than the other barred rock and the spot is not as pronounced)

The bird on the top row is giving me cockerel vibes, but like you said, it's early.

As long as neither of our leghorns (from the pullet bin) turn out to be Roos we’ll be fine with 1. I feel like it would be so hard to choose who to rehome (because of course we love them all).
