Soooo....following up on what I did for the night tonight after reading all the posts....I cut up a piece of white plastic lattice I had in the garage and put it over the opening to the nest boxes. The girls got the hint quite well. I just checked in on them and discovered a new problem...they now roosted all the way up on the 2x4 I hung across the rafters to hang their food and water from. UG! Now they are up there for the night and I'll have to clean out their water and food in the morning.
Guess I'll have to put another piece of lattice over the rafters to keep them from getting up there again tomorrow night! I really didn't think they could get up there from the roosting 2x4 I put in for them.
They do make thinks interesting!
