Too Early to Candle?

I am on Day 3 of goose eggs in the bator. I know I need to wait 7 days to candle but I am DYING to take a peak NOW! Would this be harmful to the deveoping embryo? Even if VERY careful? Thanks!

at day 3 the veins are so tiny you won't see them. you'll be disappointed

Momma gets off the nest to stretch and eat so I do not see any harm in peeking.

I was disappointed. Couldn't see a thing. Sunday will be day 7 for me and I'm crossing my fingers that I can see then! I've heard that EE eggs are particularly hard to see into.

And remmber goose eggs take longer then chicken eggs so even day 7 may not show as much as day 7 on a chicken egg

I have 2 EE eggs that I can not see into and 3 that I can, just depends.
