Many people are feeling the economic pinch and free eggs are going fast here in Ct.
Or try a diner or restaurant. free range is a buzz word in the restaurant world. You could cover your food costs

Just a thought about feeding raw eggs to the dogs. I told a vet about our chickens and that I feed excess eggs to our Dobes. She was very adamant that I not feed raw eggs to the dogs because it causes problems with the uptake of something important in their diet. Can't remember what exactly. Anyway, my Dobes usually get their eggs scrambled unless I drop one and then the egg is gone, shell and all in about 2 seconds.

I wish I had your problem. All my hens are on strike! Well, I get a couple but not the dozen a day I use to. My egg customers have to go to the store and buy old, flat, tasteless white eggs

and furthermore, you can't find something to do with 4 or 5 eggs a day. You must not have teens living in the house

It's ok to feed the whole egg raw to a dog. It's only a problem if you feed just the whites, raw, without the yolks. There's enough biotin in the yolk, to counteract the effect of the raw egg white. Or you can cook the whites, if you aren't feeding the whole egg. Cooking inactivates the effect.

I'm selling all my extra eggs. I have a few neighbors that love them, and one of them got me a couple customers through the school where she works. All the $ from my eggs go to the feed can to buy more feed.

I have the "Too many eggs" thing happening FINALLY!! I have 5 in the family and we love eggs!! I started to fill the fourth dozen today! We like to give to co-workers to brighten their day!! Mix in a few green ones and bantums and watch their reactions!!
