Too many males vs 1 female?

We purchased 4 guineas, as very small chics. As they've gotten older, we can tell that we have 3 males, and 1 female. I know with chickens you shouldn't have that many males, with only 1 hen. Is it the same with Guineas? I'd hate for all 3 males trying to mate with my one female.

With guineas, one male will emerge as the alpha male and will be the breeder. There may be fights among the males (especially if they all are pretty equal) but when it comes to the hen they will all be protective of their "queen".

Thanks so much for your quick response. I like that they will be protective of her.

I started out with 10 males and 2 females. The girls chose their mate and the rest of the males formed a bachelor group that followed the pairs around. You should be fine with your group.
