it looks like I might have 5 male ducks out of 8 :( I really dont want to get rid of so many of them but that would mean keeping them separated which means I couldnt let them out to forage.
I'm guessing based on tail curls and voices, I may even have 6 because only two are noticeably loud.
the two circled I'm fairly certain are female based on voice.
the ones with tail curls are the brown one, the khaki, and the blackwhite crested. the snowy mallard is male by coloration.
the runner and gray crested might be female but if they are, theyre very quiet.

anyone interested in trading a female for a male? though if I have to trade them, I'd really want ducks similar to what they are, since I picked them out specifically by breed, except for the brown ones. I doubt I'd be able to find anyone willing to trade for males, let alone in alabama 😫
