So I planted like 8000 seeds of various radishes, in hope I could sell some radishes. But it’s too much. Apparently people don’t really like radishes. I sell them directly to people and to vegetables shops, and it’s still impossible to get rid of all of them. Except for the French breakfast variety, people LOVE small radishes that are impossible to profit from.

People who like radishes love them. I was never a huge fan but recently I discovered that roasting them with other vegetables like onions, garlic or parsnips makes them delicious.
At least they keep longer than leafy vegetables like lettuce and spinach.
Good luck.

This is an interesting problem. Maybe try giving some away to neighbors and friends, as well as giving some to your local food pantry, if you have the extra food that is a great thing to do. As for selling them, you could try reaching out to more places that would buy them? Maybe try getting a booth at a local farmers market? Good luck!

I love radishes. Here in South Texas, they are hard to grow in this soil, they tend to get 'hotter' than they should be and need frequent watering.
I would think if you have a local farmers market, they should sell well.

My neighbours already told me they still have radishes from the previous week.
I don’t know if we have a food pantry, but I could do that.
I can also find a spot in the farmers markte, but it’s on Friday and I usually work on Friday.

Yes, if we grow them during the summer they tend to be spicy and a bit bitter. But at winter they taste great.

I’ll bet you have at least one local food pantry or food donation box, most communities/towns have one.
That’s too bad about the farmers market, maybe another one in another town.

I think they only take in dry food. It belongs to the orthodox Jewish community.
And there’s also a place which takes extra agriculture produce but you have to call them and they arrive on a lorry, not sure they will come for a few boxes. I will call anyway.

I called them, and they can’t come on Friday or Saturday, they would also not come only for radishes, unless someone else in my village would also call, and then they can take from both of us. They also don’t take tomatoes, because they have too many.
