Too many Roo's

my chicks are now 7 weeks old and I am beginning to be able to discern which are hens and which are roos. out of my 9 chicks, I have at least 4 Roos. I have been told that I should keep 1 roo for 10 hens. Is this accurate? If so, at what age should I try to give my roos away? any suggestions on how to do so? Thank you in advance!

Yes, 1 roo per 10 hens is a good ratio. When to give them away is up to you. Some people like to do it early so they dont get attached. Some wait to be 100% positive it's really a male. You can list them on any classified ad, Facebook marketplace,ect.
