Too many roosters?

I have what looks like now after about 11weeks old production reds 6 Roos and 2 hens until today was just told one roo is dead they didn't say anything about blood on him this morning very alive and energetic I am in the process of building a bigger coop so they will have more room currently in my garage in a ware hutch with the extension run I am so sad about this that's why I am so hesitant to put them all outside I live in the woods in northeast Florida lots of critters please help....

You may have a snake, be careful (i pretty much assum every predator is a snake if there is a hole their size in the ground)
 
Well, if you have only two pullets, you need to get rid of all your males, except maybe one. You should have no more than one rooster for every 8-12 hens, really, for best results and no overmating of the hens. Sometimes, depending on the rooster, you can give him fewer hens.


Are you sure they're males?
