I have eleven chickens in my flock. I speculate that 2 to 4 of these might be roosters. The breeds are 1 silkie, 1 mille fleur, 1 japanese buff black tail, and 1 unknown called squirt because he/she is really small. All of them would be bantams. The remaining members of my flock that I definitely know the sex are 2 bantam hens and 5 regular sized hens. From what I have read on the forum the ratio of roosters is approximately 1:10. Is this for bantam roosters? Are my two little bantam hens going to get a work out from all these bantam roosters or will they also give the regular sized hens some of their attention?
