Hey,
frow.gif

So ordered 25 chicks, five Polish Golden Laced (straight run). If I have more than one rooster will they fight or do I have to get rid of them? How often when you order female do you get a rooster? Because if in the other 20 I might have a few roosters so I would like to know what to do.

Thanks,

As long as they are raised together, roosters generally don't fight. They will scuffle a bit from time to time, but there will be no full-blown fights. However, roosters are usually more prone to fighting with each other when they are with hens. That is why most chicken raisers give their extra males a "bachelor coop", where they live together away from the hens. When kept this way, roosters gets along fine; its only when they have potential mates to fight about that things can get serious.

So if i don't plan on having another coop I should get rid of them?
It depends. Sometimes they will get along, and other times they won't. I personally would try keeping them together, but if that doesn't work, they will have to be gotten rid of.
