I need to know if I’m feeding my chickens too much food! I go through 3 50lb bags of food a week. I have about 50 chickens, 2 turkeys and 13 ducks.. they’re monsters! Lol

As long as you’re feeding a good quality feed, layer or flock raiser, then I wouldn’t worry about it but yeah that’s a lot of food! Are they wasting it? Could other critters be eating it at night?

This does not sound unreasonable to me depending on how much turkeys & ducks eat. 50 chickens would it almost 90 a week at .25 lb./bird/day & 115lbs at .33 lb./bird/day. That is a lot of birds. Add 26+ lbs. for the other 15 at only 1/4 lb. a day & you would be close. If the ducks are messy & waste some, you could get to 150 a week in no time!

I would look at waste and other animals eating the feed as has been said.
But you can't overfeed chickens because they won't overeat chicken feed. If they are eating it, they're hungry. If hungry, they'll eat something, I would like that something to be chicken feed.
It may help to ferment the feed. I get a big reduction in feed bills when I do so, mostly by eliminating waste.
