Too soon to panic?

:lau You sound like my DH, except he is usally the one being nosey.
I am so excited, but the daily rain here is keeping me from getting the privacy fencing up. And I don't want to start building the coop until the fence is up, just to drive the nosey neighbors crazy wondering what I am up to, lol!

I generally keep to myself. I chat with some of my immediate neighbors, and have gone out to dinner a few times with a female neighbor in her 70s, and a widower in his 70s. Now, apparently we are the talk of our loop as a kinky threesome (I am a single female in the 50s).
So much for keeping a low profile

:thThat is terrible. What is wrong with people? I would feel worse about him being in other people's business if most of our neighbors weren't his family. They are just as nosey as he is, lol.

:gigYes, lol. Living so close to family has lots of perks, privacy is NOT one of them. If your neighbors are anything like mine that fence is going to drive them nutty! My FIL cut the corn down early because he couldn't see my boys from their house anymore. He's going to plant the garden in a different spot next year. :th
Is it being nosey if it's family? Lol. If my life was half as "interesting" As they think, I wouldn't have time for chickens! (Perish the thought :th )

Lol.

Post close up comb pics again in one more week. I can always tell if a single combed chick is a boy by just after 3 weeks. Right now the first close up pic chick looks suspicious.
Ok, it is one week later! Here they are:
