Here are our two five week old Rhode Island Reds. Is "Red" a boy?

I hope you were looking for a pair, 'cause it sure looks like that's what you've got! Those combs are your giveaways. Mango's is still tiny and yellow, but at just 5 weeks, Red's is ... well ... RED ... very ... red. That's a pretty good indicator that Red is a boy. So, methinks you have one of each!

Red is my 3 year olds favorite chick and I guess she jinxed us by naming it Red. 🤦‍ Fingers crossed he's the only Rooster!

I'm keeping my eye on Savannah Easter Egger as it's massive compared to the others.

No jinxing! Every red-headed girl I've ever known has carried the same nickname ... Red it is!
