Here are our two five week old Rhode Island Reds. Is "Red" a boy?

No. First two are Red and second two are Mango.

Looks like the second red, at least, is male.

I hope you were looking for a pair, 'cause it sure looks like that's what you've got! Those combs are your giveaways. Mango's is still tiny and yellow, but at just 5 weeks, Red's is ... well ... RED ... very ... red. That's a pretty good indicator that Red is a boy. So, methinks you have one of each!

Mango looks to be a pullet and Red a cockerel, though you will know for sure in a few weeks. Enjoy them!
