Took Keets From Silkie And She Went Nuts!

I took guinea keets from silkie after 6 days because she left eggs that were placed 14 days after first 3 eggs. She went wild tossing food container ,scratching at straw on wire pen floor,and producing assortment of noises. New keets are fine and she is back on eggs.I see what happens when these guineas hatch. Very interesting watching a quiet Silkie go wild!

just be glad you lived to tell the story. there isnt anything meaner than a silkie moma. unless your messing with a guinea nest. then the male will sneak up from behind you and attack.
