Someone posted a racoon skull in another thread to show the equipment that these critters have. I am an environmental biologist (water quality) by career, with education in wildlife and forestry. I love skulls (my kids have a collection of all kinds of "nature stuff"), and I thought some of you would be interested in seeing a fox skull and a bobcat skull. Both of these animals were taken legally.

The bobcat is on the left, fox on the right. Contrary to what many believe, bobcats are pretty common, HOWEVER they are seldom seen, especially by those who do not spend a lot of time in the woods.

Thanks for posting these pictures. What effective chicken slaughtering tools! You must have an interesting household. I always tried to have interesting things around for my kids, too. We had a snakeskin, a cougar pelt, and smaller bones and stuff that we picked up on hikes.

Cool pics, thanks! My kids and I love science, nature, animals, etc. I'll show my kids these pics when they get home from school.

Luckily, I haven't seen those around here, but I have seen coyotes.

Thats something. Where I live, I don't have those problems, I'm happy to say. Wow, poor chickens would never stand a chance against those guys for sure. Thanks for the pics though, very interesting.

My DD's collect skulls that wash up on our creek banks. Don't know what they are, but we hang them on the front of our wood shed.

There is a pasture that butts up to the creek on the back side of our property. They have had everything from horses to llamas, donkeys, pigs, etc.
