Is Brower Top Hatch noisy with auto turner on, or noisy even with turner off?

If the fan is making this grinding noise there is probably no way to muffle the irritating sound.

Would like to hear from Brower Top Hatch owners how they deal with this problem.

Do you have a photo of the fan? It is probably going out (grinding) from bad lubrication. I don't own a top hatch but, fans I've fixed
in many things because of poor lubrication and they all whine and make noise when they have this problem.

No I don't own one but want to hear from somebody who does.

Here is an educational video showing Top Hatch in action and the grinding noise is clearly there.

Can somebody who actually OWNS top hatch tell me what is the source of the noise?

Flashing light is OK, indicates the bulb is working.

I suggest you look up brower incubator company on line and call them, ask to speak to someone regarding incubators, they have been really helpful with all of my problems. Good luck.

I DO NOT OWN Top Hatch yet! Just asking about noise I heard this one generates and what is a source of this noise.

Is there ANYONE on this board who OWNS Top Hatch 120 and can post his remarks and suggestions about the noise?

I already know it it make of dishwasher proof plastic, uses lightbulb for heat source, and is not very stable in temperature unstable enviorement (just like any styrobator and many other bators)

If you do not own or never owned Top Hatch there is no point to answer to this post and make meaningless comments cause you most likely do not know more about Top Hatch than I do since you do not have working experience with it.

My friends Brower makes noises like you are talking about but I suppose my post isn't helpful to you since I DON'T OWN ONE.

You oughta try to be a little nicer to people trying to help you and bump your thread. Brower is not a popular bator and YES THEY ARE NOISY.

jimnjay (Jaynie) owns one and the information I gave you above about the "Disco Bator" came from her. Not many folks own them, I take it, for those reasons, so that is probably why you haven't received many responses. Patience!

I have one that my cousin has lent me it has been a pain in the but to get the humidity up above 20%, the noise they make is fairly easy to get use to. it kind of sou rrrruunnng rrrunnng rrrrunng there really is no description for the sound it is audible but not really loud, I can hear my TV over it. As they have posted the worst part of the incubator is the light constantly flashing, so you are gonna want to be able to close the door to the room it is in or close your bedroom doors b/c it is pretty bright since it has a fully clear top. I wouldnt mind it since I can close my doors but at this point a week later I finally have the temp regulated so I think, because everytime I think I do it goes out of wack, I can not get the humidity high enough using just the ring around the outside edge. Positives is you can see everything going on in the incubator, and it has a fan to move the air around plus a turner. If there is any other questions that you have regarding the bator I will try to answer them. But as I said I havent hatched with it yet still trying to get the humidity up and stable, hopefully will start a hatch it it by the first week in March. Brower company is pretty helpful as well.
