Top of chicken coop

We care building my chicken house this weekend. It's gonna be at least 14x14. But we want to top it so hawks and owls don't steal my chickens. What is the best and cheapest thing to top the coop with. It's gonna have a regular roof over the house part but I need to top the fence area.

The best is corrugated iron or plastic roofing, but any kind of poultry wire will be fine.

We used corrugated. The only negative is when it's real hot.
