There are valid reasons for these prohibitions for some drugs, it's not arbitrary. Have you looked it up?
One of the many reasons that I have my own flock, is to avoid eating products with low level antibiotic residues. It matters!
Because we did it years ago, doesn't make it a good idea now.

@Folly's place, I'm glad you're not bothered by the odor, but I am and felt it was important for people to know there is an odor to it.

I mixed it accordingly and sprayed it lightly over the interior of my two coops. I let it dry completely before adding new bedding and letting the chickens back in. And yet, the coops, the bedding and the chickens reek of it.

I would rather buy eggs for a month than use that stuff again. I'm sticking to Frontline.

Frontline (fipronil) is not safe for chickens.

For lice & mites? ACV doesn't treat mites or lice.

It makes a great vinaigrette. Doesn’t do a thing for chickens though.
