Hi All - one of my girls (BO - 8 months old) has a pretty badly torn comb. Not sure how it happened but all the sudden she was bleeding...like she got it caught on something. I'd say it is roughly 1/3 of her entire comb...bad enough that it is nearly hanging around her eye. At first it did not seem like a big deal. She seemed ok and it wasn't bleeding too bad. I went back to check on her a bit ago and noticed that she's bleeding more now and the other girls in the coop have blood on their beaks. I isolated the injured girl to a safe spot in the coop with food and water. She still seems ok...scratching away in her private area. Any recommendations beyond that? Thanks.
