I posted this in the emergency/injury thread but no one ever answers me on that one!

I noticed blood on my Muscovy hens foot earlier this afternoon, we got a look at it later this evening when we were able to catch her. All the blood is gone, and it’s not bleeding anymore but it appears one of her webs is completely torn. In my opinion it doesn’t really look raw or like there’s a rip or cut anywhere it just appears she doesn’t have a web between one of her toes. Looking closer at it I can kinda see the skin rolled up but whatever sliced it, sliced it very clean. She’s acting normal. Walking normal. Doesn’t seem to be bothering her at all.

What do we need to do? Is she going to be okay without a web?

She’ll be fine just won’t have that part of her web. You don’t have a pond with snapping turtles by chance?
We have a creek. We’ve seen a few turtles over the years, maybe one snapping turtle. But not recently. But we did get her a few months ago, her and her sister are recently added to our flock and they had a big pond on the farm they were on so maybe it happened before we got her and we just never noticed it? I’m not even positive her foot was the one I saw the blood on. She looks almost identical to our other Muscovy hen. But when we went around and checked all their feet hers was the one missing a web so we assumed it had just happened and was recently bleeding.

She should be fine, looks like something cut the web and the skin rolled back and healed, definitely not recent. She may not swim as well or fast, but it definitely won't affect her daily routines.
I thought it looked healed as well, when my husband and I were looking at it I was arguing with him saying if it had just happened and was bleeding earlier there would have been some type of cut or scab or something.
