Tornado in Virginia

They sure do! He did drive by on his way to work this morning and called me to say that it's pretty bad out that way. Our next door neighbor (Navy as well, same route home) got stuck somewhere before that point and didn't make it home till after 9PM or so. I haven't heard news on it yet today, but so far, have heard one person dead and a couple hundred in the hosp.

After talking to several people that live around me and down to Suffolk, and basically all over the Southeastern part of the state, there were several sightings of tornadoes or funnels that are not being reported, or they haven't gotten all the data ready to report.

FINALLY! Heard from my niece her and her family are okay! They got alot of rain but no damage. Now I can have a good nights sleep.

I am soooo glad everyone is ok! We went threw the Christmas Day tornados in Florida in 2006. My hubby saw it from the livingroom window. It completely wiped out the trailer park across the street. Only 2 trailers left livable on the street that is 3 houses from our house. One was my mom's. Thankfully, no one was killed, but over 200 were left homeless. I always send extra prayers to anyone that is near a tornado. Please be safe! Steph

Wow! I'm glad that everybody is ok! When I saw the news that there were lots of tornadoes in Virginia, I was worried about all y'all Virginia BYC'ers. Like I said though, I'm glad that everybody's ok!
