Torpedo eggs.. Pic

My RIR lays torpedoes. She's only been laying for a couple months. I'm hoping they'll grow and take on a more "normal" shape.

Welcome back... where've you been?

Thanks!

I took a little break for a couple weeks.

. I haven't been online all that much lately. My kids all had strep then my 17 year old had her appendix removed all at once. It's been crazy. I'm back now that everything is back to normal.

Ouch!!! Glad everyone's OK!

My polish hen laid HUGE torpedo eggs.

She didn't lay much, but when she did, the egg was so large it didn't fit into the egg carton.

those egg and the round one never hatch i wish when i order eggs on line that they wouldn t sent those eggs it just a waste of space and the ones that look like it has a curve in it

One of our Black Java's lays 'missle' eggs as my military minded sons have named them.

Thankfully, neither son has decided to see if the eggs, um, fly straight and true! They'd still rather eat them than put them in our potato cannon as a trial.....whew!

Have another pullet who lays rounded eggs - cannot tell the 'up' from the 'down'.

Either way - we say, "YUM"!
