Tortoises

I have a dear, 5 year old Redfooted Tortoise. he is captive bred but Redfoots come from South America & live in the forests. My little guy is named Zeus but is called Zeusie. When we got him, he was just 11 weeks old, a tiny bug of a tortie who was a little bit smaller than a cigarette lighter. His birthday is June 10. This might be hard to believe but he loves to be cuddled & sung to. He eats Pretty Pets tortoise food & gets bathed in the sink every other day.

Get on photobucket and start uploading photos! They have a code you can just copy/paste to share pics on forums, no need to learn code.

I have a redfoot as well - still a little baby - as well as two russains and a sulcata.

oh yes pictures!!! i have a 10 year old russian tortiose her name is chrissy she adores bein read to an having her neck rubbed she also loves my cats! she loves to follow them and once they stop she will rub her face in there fur the cats dont mind at all. her favorite food is by far carrots if i want her to eat anything else i have to mix it in with shave carrot! if she sees orange she just has to taste it!
when i got her i was amazed to see how much personality tortioses have!! they are amazing pets and i love them!

sulcaatas are the 3rd largest tortoise in the world & can get to be 200 pounds--not a good starter tortoise!! They are also known as African Spur-Thigh tortoises. (I wrote a book about them for my daughter)

doesn't one need a scanner to upload photos??

you don't need a scanner if your pics are uploaded onto your computer. Pics that I want to post, I put in a folder on my desktop. There is an Upload feature in the blue task bar at the top of this page.
