By way of introduction I am Tuba Papa. I play the tuba and play with my grandson. I am just getting started at raising chickens. My wife had wanted them for years but because of a dog. I was reluctant to start because the dog could snatch birds out of the air. Chickens I feared would be nothing more than a quick snack. Well our dog has recently departed for celestial pastures and has left a hole behind. So we are going to fill that hole with a flock of chickens. I look forward to raising them with my grandson and possibly playing my tuba for them.

So sorry about your dog :hugs I've lost a couple in my many years of life so I know how hard that is as they become like a member of our families.

That'll be interesting to see the chicks react to a tuba. Their first time they may run scared, but they'd get used to it. You could start training them to do certain things when you play certain little runs.
