Totally confused (auction coming up)

I just came across your thread and I had to post!!! I was actually logging on to post a picture of my mystery couple that I also bought from TSC to figure out what breed they are. Mine were marked as Silver Campines and as you can tell that is not the case; I am now on the hunt for their breed so that the kids can show them in a couple weeks. The cockerel is huge! He is younger than my Ancona drake and has already outgrew him. My hen is a good size as well. She is bigger than my other two pullets that are the same age.

These two were hatched around the first week of April so they are about 16 weeks old. His comb is not as big as your guys' is. Also, their color seems different; your look more bright and orange and mine are a dark mahogany color. (Could be lighting/monitor differences.)

Do y'all think we have the same breed? Which breed do you think?

They look the same to me! He was in the sunshine when I took that pic. Their coloring is identical (except Henry has grey legs). I asked in another post and was told EE. I thought Ameracauna (sp?) but his colors are wrong for that. So I guess he's an Easter Egger! They have to be brothers from the same hatchery! lol I have to say, he is an awesome rooster. He's always alert, gives all his girls treats, constantly talking to them, dancing for them and mating. He has not once shown aggression to any of us, though he is quite large.
Curious if yours acts the same? He's handsome. :)

these appear to have a rose comb which would make them rose combed rir

production reds are lighter in color than rir

They are Production Reds and look like mine I got from TSC. I also got my BO from TSC~ they look like this at 12-13 weeks

These show both Production Reds and BOs. This one is my roo BIG Al, who is now 18 weeks.

Big Al is awesome looking! Love him!
I picked up a BO. That's what got me wondering why my supposed BO's haven't "fluffed" yet. I thought maybe they got fluffier as they got older. (Sigh)
Can ya tell I'm a little new at this? OK, get me a cement wall now so I can bang my head.

I just came across this post in my subscriptions...I forgot all about it. We took ours to the fair and asked the judge and found out they are actually Buckeyes. I know it has been a while but just wanted to let you know!
