Friends had to move from house with yard to small apartment, so we inherited their 5 hens:
Katie - Ameraucana
Peaches - Barred Rock
Daisy - Black Australorp
Harper - Buff Silkie
Diana - White Leghorn

We are loving them. We visit with them every evening for cocktail time. They are good layers and we are averaging about 3 eggs a day. They are between 2-3 years old. We are getting ready to build them a swing and find them a xylophone to peck on!
