Totally Frustrated...

Medicated pullet feed is for cossciouis (sp). The stuff for their guts.

It doesn't effect anything else (meat or eggs). It is to help prevent running poos and such. There is no withdrawl period for it either.

So continue what you are doing and when the younger ones get bigger (16-20 weeks) you can feed the layer mix.

No need to waste perfectly good food:D

Oops! My Mistake. I wasn't paying attention that didn't mention in your first post on this thread anything about the feed being medicated, but noticed it in a latter post. When my bigger girls started laying, I had some Medicated Starter/Grower left. I just mixed it up with the layer and they were fine. I agree with the other posts. I would give them free choice crushed oyster shells.
