Hi there. I have been reading all the forums for the past few weeks and with all of your help have been able to tell my husband what type of chickens we have and may have identified a possible rooster in our little flock of 6. This is a very new experience to me. I have been terrified of birds my whole life and yesterday I actually almost touched one of them to help it along to the coop. (I know if sounds silly, but for me I have come a long way.) and reading the information you all have put in the forums is what has helped me start to overcome the fear I have with them. We got our White Leghorn chicks in April and they were around 8 - 12 weeks. They are becoming very beautiful and I am watching them to see what kind of attitudes they have so I can pick out some names but I am having a problem telling them apart they all look alike to me. Do you think as they get older I will be able to tell them apart better. I was thinking maybe putting a little tag on their ankles (?) would help. I am also working on telling if we do have any roosters in our flock. I hope so. And I hope he is as pretty as all of yours are. I will post pics later and hope that you can all help me id if he/she is a pullet or roo.
Happy Chatting and thanks for all the help
