Help. I have got 4 or 5 completely oval dark maran eggs to go in my incubator. I have candeled them but can’t see where air sac is so I have no way of knowing which is the “pointy” end. Not sure what to do, I thought I could put them in my incubator cradles on their sides, rather than vertically on one end, so they would still be getting turned but not end to end, side to side instead? OR do I just put them in at my best guess and candle again in a week to see if I can spot the air sacs? How important is the air sac at the start of incubation? Also got lovely legbar eggs but they are thankfully a regular egg shape. On a mission to get the perfect Olive egger one day, Thank you.
