TOTW added to Diamond recall

TOTW added to the Diamond dog food recall and I just bought two bags at Tractor Supply on Sat.

It just seems that Diamond is a company to stay away from. Anyone got ideas on a comparable replacement for the TOTW?

And of course i threw the bags away already... (when will i learn my lesson with that.. )

They aren't all bad..check the production code on the bag. Hope that isn't too obvious, just throwing it out there so that good bags don't go to waste.

Wellness has also had a recall. so far the brands I know of that have had recalls include:

I'd switch to another brand altogether if it were me.

Thank you for posting this information. I too have dog and cat food affected by the recall.

I work in the pet industry and so far this is what I am finding out. Apparently all of these foods are manufactured at the same plant. A few weeks ago I was going to get TOTW because they have a grain free puppy food . That week our distributor would release nothing made by Diamond. Now I was going to order Core Wellness and yesterday some Wellness was recalled. So I am waiting.

I have been feeding Innova Prime, Evo and California Naturals Grain Free. Natura has their own plants for dry and canned food and far they are safe. I have also had to get Blue grain free puppy food for my pregnant *****. I do not know if they have a plant of their own. Orijen and Acana are excellent foods that have not been recalled as well. Hope this helps!

I believe the recall is only in certain states. I live in New Hampshire and the recall was effective here. I feed m dogs TOTW and it got taken off the shelves as a voluntary recall so I switched to a food called Earthborn which is supposed to be similar in ingredients to TOTW.
