Toulous? Pilgrim? Mixed breed? What did I just buy?

I discovered to day that she can fly! I didn't think these large domestics had it in them. She got about 5 feet of gain and covered an acre.

wow, that wouldn't be cool here if she was facing towards the river. I haven't seen mine try to fly, they like to play airplane take off in the drive way but it's mostly just running and flapping the wings. If you don't want her doing this for her safety you might want to clip one wing.

It was cool because my muscovy/mallard mule and two guinea hens took off in the air right behind her. The poor sebastopols were running at top speed with their little stubby wings!

Well if you don't mind and she can't be harmed then enjoy. I have to clip wings here for their own safety and my peace of mind. I bet it was a cool pic.

That's far!! Every time I see a picture of a prod/utility Toulouse, it makes me want them even more!!

HAHAHA... well.. I told myself I was just going to have two geese. But then I started thinking, 'what if something happens to one, the other one will get so depressed! Better if I find a 3rd' ... but I dont think any locals sell geese, so I may have to order from a big online breeder, then I'd have to get two, since they prob wont ship just one. That would make my count jump from two geese to four! But I think its better if I wait a little bit since I'm still new to geese. This will be our first winter with them!
