Toxic plants

Is there a reliable source of information about which plants/foods are toxic to quail? I've seen conflicting information in discussions here and elsewhere on the internet, including lists identifying foods that our quail have eaten, fortunately without any apparent ill effect. Is a list of plants that are generally safe or toxic for birds applicable to quail, for example?

Well I don't have any quail (yet) but I asked my chicken vet that same question about toxic plants and chickens. She basically told me birds are really smart about staying away from plants that are toxic to them, of course there's always the exception but she assured me I didn't have to re-do any landscaping eventhough I have many of the plants on the toxic list.
