So my hen is recovering. Long story short, I suspect she had some sort of toxin because of the speed on onset and her also fairly rapid recovery. I found her barely able to move about a week ago, and now with just gentle care she's fairly active. For more details please see the topic link below.

What I'm wondering now is is it safe to assume it was a toxin and not quarantine her for a full 30 days or can I put her in with the other girls once her energy level is back up to normal. Thanks!

If you are pretty sure her condition was caused by a toxin and not disease them I would put her back with her pals once her energy level is back.

Watch her closely because the others might start to pick on her. When I reintroduce a bird I do it as they are running out of the coop to free range. I think in all the excitement they forget who is who and I've never had a problem but that could just be my dumb luck.

So glad she is better.
