Toxoplasmosis- I’m pregnant! How do I handle it.

I’m pregnant! Yay! Then I did some reading on toxoplasmosis and talked to my midwife and she basically said I was most likely already infected and to stay away from my chickens… I’m wondering if anyone else has had this advice or what you have done during pregnancy while caring for chickens. Everyone says so many different things! Don’t do this don’t do that! That’s okay. Just wanted to get some input.

Also I should say my husband can help out with the chickens, but I’m the main chicken keeper… and he doesn’t know all the things to look for or how to handle them.

toxoplasmosis, is usually associated with cat feces if there infected. It's a parasite.
