Toys and Introductions

I read that one cheap item chicks like to play with is a CD ... hung so they can see their reflection. Mine wouldn't go near it! All I've been able to tempt them with is small logs. Do I need to make special toy 'introductions' so they aren't afraid?

And speaking of introductions, is there any advice on how to meet other household critters?



The girls do enjoy the logs. Still won't touch the branches.
