Apologies if this has been posted before - and I am sure it has...
My hens have a run about 50sqm, couple of high perches made out of logs, an old plastic water barrel filled with builders sand for a dust bath etc but I wanted to make them or give them more things to do. They get to free-range maybe once a week and the run is a mix of bare-earth and wood-chippings.
