Toys for Muscovy Ducks

Your daddy duck is gorgeous. I have never seen a dull looking Muscovy I love them all.

I meant egg laying period not for more ducklings lol The girls will want a hiding place to lay their eggs.

Yes we'd love to see your ducklings.

I put a pool in the day pen with potted plants around the outside. They love the wandering Jew plant! Before they got to it it cascaded into the pool but now I have moved it so it can re grow. Mine love watermelon and thawed peas. They are kinda boring to me but seem happy playing with each other. Wally the dad is still being separated and can see everyone but has done a number on his ladies feathers this mating cycle. (They just came here last month) and is not a fan of his drakeling so he just gets to watch the fun.

I do love watching them play and swim underwater!

It has been hot so no one is really active here. I think Mrs. Lydia is right places to stand while they tend feathers and places to nap and find bugs that is what makes them happy. And I love the wagging tail!

Also in neighborhood, your neighbors will probably not know you have them. Quieter than my dog and even my hens! Muscovy is "the quiet duck".

Aren't they just awesome :D

Yes :clap:love

I need more females so Wally can get out of his apartment:oops:. I thought we would be great friends, keeping him off his lady during mating season pretty much sealed that he thinks I am a bully. I let them together if she looks like she wants time with him, But I am still learning their looks, hisses and tweeters. :hugs I am glad they joined us. Waldo will eat treats from my hand and let me pet him while the treats are still in hand but then he is off to see what I gave his Mom and sister. :fl I will figure it out!

They use us but that's okay too. lol

They are a hoot for sure. I don't know where you are to Red rock TX but we have a member there who maybe able to help you with more females. :)

I am real close to Red Rock I think. My oldest daughter lives in Rockney and with winding roads it's about 15 minutes from us.

I am not looking to breed. Just have a happy little community. I know if I hatch chicks I will get more drakes and those guys! Knee slapping funny to a silly old lady. So I would need more hens, then it would start over again. I promised DH I would wait until next spring to get more, but I sure would like a contact. Your member can pm me or something. Member of?

OH Wait! LOOP HOLE!:bow

I have a birthday in August, and 5 grown human children, surely one of them still thinks I am not a bully :lau

I think Muscovy math is not much different than chicken math. :th
